Rome, 11 April (LaPresse) – Regarding the pardon granted to Nicole Minetti, as reported in advance by the programme ‘Mi manda Rai3’, sources at the Quirinale have clarified that ‘the granting of clemency – in favour of which the competent Attorney General of the Court of Appeal expressed himself in a comprehensive opinion – was also based on the serious health condition of a minor close relative of Minetti who requires special assistance and care at highly specialised hospitals’. ‘Legislation protecting the sensitive personal data of minors does not permit the disclosure of details regarding the minor’s health condition,’ the sources further clarify.
