Milan, 13 April (LaPresse) – Carlo Monguzzi, a long-serving Milan city councillor and environmentalist, died during the night. ‘My love, you are free now. Carlo is no longer with us,’ writes his wife in a Facebook post announcing Monguzzi’s death following an illness. "A decent, free-spirited and courageous man is no longer with us. I am grateful to life for having shared so much time with you. Now I feel lost and I don’t know how to recapture the light-heartedness that made me so serene. Thank you for always being there. Strong, steadfast, gentle and kind, beautiful. That’s how you were. Thank you for everything, my love.”
