Turin, 30 April (LaPresse) – The soundtrack to the 20th Century Studios film *The Devil Wears Prada 2* will be released tomorrow, 1 May, on digital platforms worldwide. The project will feature music from the film, currently showing in Italian cinemas, and was preceded by the first single ‘Runway’ by Lady Gaga and Doechii, already one of the most played tracks on Italian radio. The music video — directed by Parris Goebel — is set in a surreal room filled with strobe lights. The two superstars pose for the cameras in a wide range of avant-garde looks. The soundtrack features previously unreleased tracks by 16-time Grammy Award winner Lady Gaga, who, in addition to ‘Runway’, has also recorded two further songs due out tomorrow: ‘Shape of a Woman’ and ‘Glamorous Life’. Alongside Gaga’s tracks, the album also includes Sienna Spiro’s previously unreleased single, ‘Material Lover’, and Izzy Escobar’s ‘Evergreen Avenue’. Twenty years after the release of the original film, “The Devil Wears Prada 2” transports us to a new era of fashion, ambition and shifting power dynamics, where old rivalries resurface and the catwalks are fiercer than ever. The soundtrack accompanies every moment of the film with a collection of hits from global superstars such as Dua Lipa (‘End of an Era’), Miley Cyrus (‘Walk of Fame’), SZA (‘Saturn’), RAYE (‘Worth It’), Laufey (‘Mr. Eclectic’), Olivia Dean (‘Nice to Each Other’) and many others, offering a perfect blend of glamour, grit and renewal.
