Los Angeles (California, USA), Feb 3 (LaPresse/AP) – Beyoncé has finally done it: her Cowboy Carter has won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year, a category for which she had been nominated four times before without winning. The award was presented to the pop star by members of the Los Angeles Fire Department, who have been battling the devastating fire that affected the Californian metropolis. "It's been many, many years," Beyoncé said, dedicating the award "to Miss Martell," referring to Linda Martell, the artist who became the first Black woman to perform at the Grand Ole Opry.
