Locatelli: "Juve wants to win the Supercoppa, an honor to be captain"

Milan, Jan. 2 (LaPresse) – "The Milan team is definitely strong, with great individual skills in one-on-one situations. We'll need a solid defensive performance; they’ll have a new coach who will bring fresh energy. We need to focus on playing our game, and I’ve felt comfortable even playing in a deeper role," said Juventus midfielder Manuel Locatelli during the press conference ahead of the Supercoppa semifinal against Milan. "It’s an honor, a privilege, and a great responsibility to wear the captain’s armband. I’ve always been a Juventus fan, and I’m proud of it" he added. "Both teams have the objective of taking home the trophy. They’ll have a different way of playing, and we need to bring intensity to try and win. We’re here for that, and there’s always room for improvement," Locatelli continued. "We’re in a phase of growth; we can improve, and this could be an opportunity to bring home a trophy. It has been an important year, and we must never lack the right attitude" he concluded.
