Rome, Jan. 14 (LaPresse) – Six NBA regular-season games were played overnight. Returning to the court after their home game against the Charlotte Hornets was suspended due to the wildfires impacting Los Angeles, the Lakers lost to the San Antonio Spurs 126-102 despite Anthony Davis' impressive 30 points and 13 rebounds.

The Los Angeles Clippers, however, secured a 109-98 victory over the Miami Heat, who could not capitalize on Tyler Herro’s outstanding 32-point performance.

The Detroit Pistons achieved a significant road win, defeating the New York Knicks 124-119 thanks to Cade Cunningham’s 36 points. Meanwhile, the Minnesota Timberwolves overcame the Washington Wizards 120-106, led by Anthony Edwards, who scored an impressive 41 points.

The Houston Rockets edged out the Memphis Grizzlies 120-118, with Jalen Green contributing a stellar 42-point performance. Lastly, the Toronto Raptors triumphed over the Golden State Warriors 104-101. The game was decided in the final moments as the Warriors squandered a nine-point lead, despite Stephen Curry’s 26 points.
