Turin, 23 Jan (LaPresse) – Roma lost their second Europa League game in the round of 32, falling 1-0 to Az Alkmaar on matchday seven of the league stage. The decider came in the 35th minute of the second half when Parrott beat Svilar from the spot following an assist from Wolfe. For the Giallorossi it was a heavy setback: direct access to the round of 16 definitively vanished, Ranieri's team remain stuck on nine points and will have to earn their place in the playoffs in the last day's home match against Eintracht Frankfurt. The match is scheduled for Thursday 30 January at 21:00.
