(LaPresse) – Lorenzo Sonego (No. 34 ATP), after a splendid fight against Holger Rune (No. 14), surrendered in the first round of the ABN Amro Open in Rotterdam (ATP 500 with a prize money of 2,563,150 euros) with a score of 7-6(4), 6-4. For Italy, Andrea Vavassori and Matteo Berrettini, who will make their debut tomorrow, and Mattia Bellucci, who will take on Daniil Medvedev (No. 7 ATP) in the round of 16, remain in the competition in Rotterdam.
