Milan, 7 Feb (LaPresse) – Seven Italians are on the men's singles entry list for the Indian Wells Masters 1000 scheduled from 2 to 16 March. At the start all the Italians currently in the Top 50: Jannik Sinner (no. 1 Atp), Lorenzo Musetti (17), Matteo Berrettini (33), Lorenzo Sonego (34), Flavio Cobolli (35), Matteo Arnaldi (39) and Luciano Darderi (46). Carlos Alcaraz will try to become the first player to triumph three years in a row in Indian Wells since Novak Djokovic's hat-trick (2014-16), who is also on the entry list even though he has not yet returned to the court after the injury at the Australian Open for which he withdrew during the semi-final against Alexander Zverev, another of the expected protagonists.
