Turin, Feb. 11 (LaPresse) – Juventus defeated PSV Eindhoven 2-1 in Turin in the first leg of the Champions League playoff. The Bianconeri took the lead in the 34th minute of the first half with a stunning volley from McKennie at the edge of the box. In the second half, former Inter player Perisic equalized in the 11th minute with a shot at the near post. The home side responded, and in the 37th minute of the second half, Mbangula secured the winning goal, capitalizing on a short rebound by Benitez from Conceição's cross. The second leg, which will determine a spot in the round of 16, is scheduled for Wednesday, February 19, in the Netherlands.
