Milan, February 13 (LaPresse) – “Today I was calm, I had a good start, and I felt in rhythm. But I went a bit too wide on a turn, my pole got stuck, and it twisted. I end up in these tragicomic situations that seem to happen only to me," said Sofia Goggia, commenting on her exit in the first run of the giant slalom at the Saalbach World Championships.
"I’ll have to work on it. You always have to look forward, no matter what, but it’s clear that I waste too many races where I could actually perform very well. There’s something I still can’t quite figure out. I still have great potential, but it’s not good to keep throwing races away," admitted the Italian skier.
