Milan, 16 Feb (LaPresse) – Monza and Lecce drew 0-0 on matchday 25 of the Serie A championship. A precious point for the Salentini in terms of salvation, but it is of little use to the Lombardi, who remain last at -7 from the quota that is worth staying in Serie A. Nesta's return to the bench only partly gave the team a jolt, Monza had a good defensive hold but in fact they were hardly ever seen going forward except for a Caprari shot in the final. The best chances, however, were almost all for Lecce, who came close to scoring several times with the usual Kristovic with Pierotti and with Helgason. Giampaolo's team can certainly recriminate for a missed opportunity to make an important leap in the standings, while the goal of salvation is still far from being reached.
