Turin, Feb. 20 (LaPresse) – Mirra Andreeva beat Iga Swiatek and qualified for the semifinals of the Wta 1000 in Dubai. The Russian player won with a double 6-3, in one hour and 38 minutes of play, over the world number two, becoming the youngest player to beat Swiatek on the circuit and the earliest semifinalist in the history of the Dubai WTA 1000. In the semifinals Andreeva will face the winner of the match between Rybakina and Kenin.
