Rome, Feb. 22 (LaPresse) – Christian Chivu's Parma, in his debut as head coach after Pecchia's dismissal, defeated Bologna 2-0 at the 'Tardini,' securing a much-needed victory after four consecutive losses. Bonny scored from the penalty spot in the 37th minute, while Sohm sealed the win in the 78th. With this result, Parma temporarily moves out of the relegation zone, reaching 23 points, just two behind Empoli, currently third from the bottom. Bologna, which had not lost in the league since their home defeat to Verona on December 30, remains at 41 points.
