F1, Bahrain test: ‘Leclerc ahead of Antonelli and Norris in the morning’

Milan, 28 Feb (LaPresse) – More good indications for Ferrari on the morning of the final day of Formula 1 testing in Bahrain. Charles Leclerc set the fastest time of 1'30"811, behind him the Mercedes of rookie Andrea Kimi Antonelli at +0.077 and the McLaren of Lando Norris at +0.132. Fourth time for the Red Bull of World Champion Max Verstappen at +0.398. Fifth time for the Alpine of Australian Jack Doohan at +0.428. For Leclerc there was also a small tailspin, fortunately without consequences, while Norris continues to impress for the consistency of his times in race simulations. A fact on which Ferrari are already working to find countermeasures. Finally, it should be noted that the session was briefly halted due to the sudden explosion of the glass window of the race director's booth, perhaps due to the strong wind that characterised the morning at the Sakhir circuit.
