This is how Marcell Jacobs, interviewed by Sky Sport, spoke of the espionage against him, with Filippo Tortu's brother under investigation by the Fidal. On Filippo Tortu, however, Jacobs has no doubts. ‘I believe in his innocence. I was very pleased that he wrote to me. It is not his call that convinced me, I knew from the start that Filippo had nothing to do with it,' Jacobs said. ‘I hope the truth comes out but I want the relay team to win again: we will try to be super united on the track,’ the Italian reiterated.
