Turin, Mar. 10 (LaPresse) – Lorenzo Musetti went down in the third round of the Indian Wells Masters 1000 against the 20-year-old Frenchman Arthur Fils, who won on a comeback with a score of 3-6, 7-6 (4), 6-3 and obtained his first victory against a Top 20 player in a Masters 1000. The Italian player surrendered after wasting a match point in the second set. Fils will now meet Marcos Giron, world no. 48, who followed up his victory over Casper Ruud, his first career win against a top five, by beating Australian Alexei Popyrin (ATP no. 27) 5-7 6-3 6-3.
