Turin, Mar 12 (LaPresse) – ‘I am experiencing something exciting, the anticipation here in the valley is growing by the hour, it is a huge event because it involves the entire community and I know every single person who is working in the organisation. There are children and kids from the ski clubs who will come dressed as a tiger, so many friends who will go up’. So said Federica Brignone on the eve of the two super-giants in La Thuile, home races that could give her the Ski World Cup. The programme has been scrambled with the cancellation of the downhill and the holding of two super-Gs on Thursday and Friday. ‘I would have liked to compete all three days, the cancellation of the downhill will allow me to reach the finals with the speciality leader's bib, but my dream would have been to compete at home with this bib, in front of our fans,’ added the Italian champion.
