F1, Vasseur: ‘We are not satisfied, a different scenario in the race’

Turin, 15 Mar. (LaPresse) – ’Obviously we cannot be satisfied with today's qualifying result. In Q1 and Q2 things didn't seem too bad, given that we were one-two tenths behind the McLarens. In Q3, however, we didn't do a good job because we weren't able to keep up with our rivals and as a result we find ourselves in a position that doesn't reflect our true potential’. This was said by Ferrari team principal Fred Vasseur after Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton took seventh and eighth place in qualifying for the Australian Grand Prix, the opening race of the Formula 1 World Championship. ‘Tomorrow the race could present a completely different scenario, given that yesterday's pace was good and we could have very different conditions, given that rain is expected – he added – Points are awarded tomorrow and we have to do a good job, preparing down to the smallest detail: I'm convinced that we have the potential to bring home a good haul of points’.
