Turin, March 15 (LaPresse) – Verona takes a crucial step towards survival with a 1-0 win in Udine in the 29th round of Serie A, moving up to 29 points and temporarily increasing their lead over the relegation zone to seven points. After a balanced first half, Udinese became dangerous in the second half with two long-range shots from Ehizibue and Atta. However, just when the home team was applying the most pressure, Hellas took the lead in the 28th minute with a brilliant free-kick by Duda. In the final moments, Atta had the chance to equalize but squandered a header from Solet's cross. Udinese suffers its first defeat after six consecutive positive results and remains on 40 points, in 10th place.
