Rome, Mar 22 (LaPresse) – A surprise defeat for Carlos Alcaraz at the Atp Masters 1000 tournament in Miami. The Spaniard, second seed in the draw, was beaten by David Goffin. The Belgian won with a score of 5-7, 6-4, 6-3. As a result of this loss, Alcaraz will not be able to overtake Jannik Sinner at the top of the ranking before the Italian's return to the court at the Internazionali di Roma.
