Milan, 29 Mar (LaPresse) – A super goal from Orsolini in the second half earned Bologna a 1-0 win in Venice on matchday 30 of Serie A. The Italian side's fifth straight win allows them to hold on to fourth place with 56 points, regardless of the results of their rivals Juventus. After three draws in a row, Venezia fell back to second-last place with 20 points, -5 points from the salvation zone. The famous actor Terence Hill was also present at the stadium, awarded with a commemorative shirt on his 86th birthday. A beautiful first half played at the Penzo, with the two teams facing each other openly and without excessive tacticism. Bologna were more aggressive and dangerous, especially with Dallinga, on the pitch in place of the disqualified Castro, and Orsolini. Venezia certainly didn't stand idly by and in turn made themselves dangerous with Zerbin on the half-hour mark but Skorupski parried and with Idzes at the end of the half. Orsolini broke the deadlock in the 49th minute when he beat Radu with a diagonal left-footed volley on Cambiaghi's cross from the right. Di Francesco's team tried to react and made themselves dangerous in front of Skorupskim, first with Kike Perez and then with Busio, who kicked just wide from an excellent position. In the final, Bologna controlled the desperate assaults of the Venetians without too many problems and brought home another fundamental victory in the Champions League.
