Rome, 29 March (LaPresse) – Marc Marquez makes no mistakes and wins the sprint at the Gp of the Americas, the third round of the MotoGP World Championship. After his successes in Thailand and Argentina (replicated in the ‘long’ race), the factory Ducati rider laid down the law and once again imposed himself ahead of his brother Alex Marquez (Team Gresini Ducati), as in the previous four races. Third was Francesco Bagnaia, on the other factory Ducati, who tried to take the lead in the early laps and insert himself between the two Marquez riders. There were two spectacular overtaking moves on the limit by the former world champion, who then had to suffer the counter-attack of Marc Marquez, who on the second lap threatened to get knocked off his bike. Fourth and fifth were Fabio Di Giannanatonio and Franco Morbibelli, with the two Ducati VR46). Quartararo, Acosta, Marini, Ogura and Bezzecchi followed.
