Rome, 31 Mar. (LaPresse) – A couple of positive changes in the women's world rankings published this morning by the WTA after the conclusion of the fourth WTA 1000 tournament of the season in Miami. Also this week, there are three Italians among the top hundred. Jasmine Paolini is still the Italian leader and, thanks to her semi-final in Florida (the first Italian to get this far in the second chapter of the ‘Sunshine Double’), she has moved up a position: the 29-year-old from Bagni di Lucca is now sixth. Behind her, Lucia Bronzetti, number 60, has made two steps forward, while Elisabetta Cocciaretto, now at number 85, has dropped another three places. Sara Errani's position is unchanged: the Italian veteran, in the top ten in doubles, is number 124.
