Rome, April 12 (LaPresse) – Marc Marquez secured pole position for the Qatar GP, the fourth round of the MotoGP World Championship. The official Ducati rider outpaced his brother Alex (Ducati of the Gresini team) by 101 thousandths of a second, with Fabio Quartararo completing the front row. A crash for Pecco Bagnaia in the fourth sector while he was setting the fastest lap. The error cost the Piedmont rider 11th place on the grid. Franco Morbidelli set the fourth fastest time, followed by Di Giannantonio, Vinales, Zarco, Aldeguer, Rins, and Ogura.
