Rome, April 13 (LaPresse) – Marc Marquez also won the Qatar GP after a sprint race and continues to dominate the world championship by stretching the overall standings. The Spaniard of the Ducati preceded the Ktm of Maverick Viñales, third the Ducati of Pecco Bagnaia (who started eleventh on the grid) who preceded the Ducati VR46 of Franco Morbidelli. Completing the top ten were Zarco, Aldeguer, Alex Marquez, Quartararo, Acosta and Bezzecchi. Crash for world champion Jorge Martin (Aprilia), who slipped on the high kerb and was hit in the back by Di Giannantonio's bike. The Spanish rider, who was returning to racing after a pre-season injury, was taken to the medical centre for a series of checks.
