Milan, 17 Apr (LaPresse) – The wait is over: Jannik Sinner is finally back on a tennis court after his suspension with Wada over the Clostebol case. The World No. 1 took to the court this morning for his first training session on a tennis court with his friend Jack Draper, a British player fresh out of the top ten and one of those who have always been supportive of him. The two trained on the indoor clay courts in the French town of Beaulieu-sur-Mer, a 25-minute drive from Monte-Carlo on the Côte d'Azur, where an Itf J300 tournament is currently underway. It was the French tournament's social profile that released a few seconds of video with the first images of Sinner back at work with a racket. The Italian was forced to move because of the rain that has been battering Monte Carlo for days, making it impossible to take the court at the Country Club. Sinner is preparing for his return to competition at the end of his suspension, scheduled for 4 May, at the Internazionali d'Italia in Rome from 7 May.
