The Larians triumphed at ‘Via del Mare’ in the 33rd round of the Serie A season thanks to goals from Diao in the 33rd minute, Goldaniga in the 85th (who hadn’t scored in Serie A for 5 years), and Diao again in injury time. The Apulians, who haven’t won in Serie A since January 31, remain in 18th place with 26 points (though Venezia and Empoli, who meet tomorrow, have 24 points). Meanwhile, Como secured their third consecutive win (after 73 years) and rose to 39 points. Lecce fans expressed their frustration with chants and boos towards their team after the match.
