ATP Munich, title goes to Zverev: Shelton defeated in straight sets

Rome, April 20 (LaPresse) – Alexander Zverev won the title at the 'BMW Open by Bitpanda', an ATP 500 tournament played on the clay courts of MTTC Iphitos in Munich. The German tennis player, ranked third in the world, defeated American Ben Shelton (15th in the ATP rankings) in the final with a score of 6-2, 6-4 in one hour and 12 minutes.
For Zverev, who is celebrating his 28th birthday today, this marks his 24th ATP title overall and his third victory in Munich.
