Madrid (Spain), Apr 20 (LaPresse) – ‘It was really sad to hear about the injury’ of Federica Brignone which is ‘pretty serious, and I wrote her a message on Instagram hoping she'll be back soon. She's had an incredible season', ’seeing what she did last year winning the overall title, the greatest woman to ever win the overall title, and all the victories she's had, she deserves to be in the Olympics in her country next year. I really hope and pray that she can come back, and if anyone can do it, it's her'. This was said by US skier Lindsey Vonn, at a press conference at the Laureus World Sports Awards, regarding Brignone's participation in the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan Cortina after her injury.
