Genoa, 23rd Apr (LaPresse) – A rabid Lazio won 2-0 at home to Genoa in the second leg of the 33rd day of Serie A and, thanks to Juventus' defeat in Parma, hooks the Bianconeri in fifth place in the standings, -1 from Bologna in the fight for a place in the Champions League. A painless knock, on the other hand, for the Ligurian red and blues, now quiet in the standings and out of the fight for salvation. A Lazio stronger even than the controversy of the past few days for the postponement of two matches after the death of Pope Francis. In the first half, Castellanos scored a splendid goal in the 33rd minute in a half-timer, after Genoa had been left in ten for the expulsion of Otoa for a last man foul on Zaccagni. In the second half Lazio controlled and in the 65th minute also found the double with a winning left-footed shot from Dia, on an assist from Rovella. In the final minutes Baroni's team were left in ten for a red card to Reda Belahyane. However, the Biancocelesti managed to put the game to bed, taking home three crucial points in their chase for Europe.
