Milan, April 26 (LaPresse) – Celtic have matched their fierce Glasgow rivals Rangers by winning their 55th Scottish league title, with four games to spare.
A 5-0 victory over Dundee United in the Scottish Premiership put Celtic 18 points ahead of second-placed Rangers, with five games remaining.
This marks Celtic’s fourth consecutive league title, and they are still in the hunt for their sixth domestic treble in the past nine seasons.
Celtic have already won the Scottish League Cup and have reached the final of the Scottish FA Cup, where they will face Aberdeen on May 24.
Rangers last won their 55th league title in 2021.
