Milan, April 27 (LaPresse) – Como won 1-0 against Genoa in the match of the 34th Serie A round, effectively securing mathematical survival by reaching 42 points in the standings. It was the third consecutive win for Fabregas's team, the surprise of the season, while for the Ligurians, it was their second consecutive defeat, leaving them stuck at 39 points. The first half was balanced, with some exciting moments, as Como was dangerous with Ikoné and Da Cunha, while the visitors came close to scoring with Kassa and Ahanor, who hit the post. In the second half, Como shifted gears, and in the 59th minute, they took the lead through Strefezza, assisted by Cutrone, who was set up by Nico Paz. The Ligurians, coached by Vieira, tried to respond but lacked the necessary efficiency. Como defended well, also attempting to strike on the counterattack. The result remained unchanged, and for the hosts, it was enough to secure the win.
