Milan, April 27 (LaPresse) – Overtaking completed. Antonio Conte's Napoli fully capitalizes on Inter's second consecutive league defeat, beating Torino 2-0 at the 'Maradona' Stadium in the late match of Serie A's 34th round, and climbs alone to the top of the standings with 74 points, three ahead of the Nerazzurri. Once again, Scott McTominay proved decisive for the Partenopei, scoring a match-winning brace with two almost identical goals in the 7th and 41st minutes of the first half: a run into the box, a right-footed shot ahead of the Granata defenders, and the ball past Milinkovic-Savic. Napoli then managed the game in the second half without ever allowing Torino to pose a real threat, even hitting the crossbar with Billing. The only negative notes for the new league leaders were the injuries suffered in the second half by Anguissa and Buongiorno. Torino remains on 43 points in the standings, sitting in 10th place, one point ahead of Como.
