The 18-year-old Mercedes driver outpaced the McLarens of Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris, with Max Verstappen in fourth. George Russell set the fifth-fastest time, followed by the two Ferraris of Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, in sixth and seventh respectively. The Sprint Race is scheduled for 6 p.m. Italian time this evening.
