Turin, 3 May (LaPresse) – Udinese returned to winning ways after two months with a 2-1 away victory over Cagliari in their Serie A matchday 35 fixture. Zarraga broke the deadlock in the 27th minute after a serious mistake by Luperto, and shortly afterwards, in the 35th minute, Zortea equalised by beating Okoye at his near post with a shot that was not particularly powerful. In the second half, the visitors took control of the game and found the winning goal in the 22nd minute with a shot from close range by Kristensen following a set piece. The Sardinians' reaction was too late, and they suffered their third defeat in their last four games, remaining on 33 points, temporarily seven points above the relegation zone. Udinese, on the other hand, moved level with Torino in eleventh place on 44 points.
