Turin, May 4 (LaPresse) – Manchester United suffered their third defeat in the last four league matches, falling 4-3 away to Brentford in the 35th round of the Premier League. Mount gave the Red Devils hope, despite their recent Europa League efforts against Athletic Bilbao, but the hosts turned the match around with a Shaw own goal in the 27th minute and a goal by Schade in the 33rd. In the second half, Brentford ran away with it thanks to Schade’s brace and a goal from Wissa. In the closing minutes, Amorim’s team reduced the deficit with goals from Garnacho and Diallo, making the loss less bitter. The other two afternoon matches, West Ham-Tottenham and Brighton-Newcastle, both ended 1-1.
