Rome, 10 May (LaPresse) – ’Thank you very much to everyone. It's a fantastic feeling. It's been quite a long three months for me. I've also had a lot of fun with my family and friends, so it's still been a good time for me. But I'm very happy to be playing tennis again, it's what I like and what I love most.’ These were the first words of Jannik Sinner after defeating Argentine Mariano Navone in the second round of the Internazionali. ’What did I like tonight and what did I like less? It's very difficult, after three months there is no feedback. You don't know how well you're playing, sometimes well, sometimes not so well, but that's normal. I'm happy to be able to give my all, that's the most important thing. The results will come sooner or later, but I'm happy to be here. I'm happy to be able to play tennis. In the end, even though today didn't go as we wanted, it was still a great day for me, regardless of being here again,’ he added. ‘It was a fantastic moment for me and my team. We've worked hard to be in this position, I'm very happy. I made a few mistakes with my forehand and backhand, but that's okay, I played every point. Obviously, the crowd was incredible, it gives me the strength to keep going even in difficult moments. It was a very special moment,’ he concluded.
