Milan, 12 May (LaPresse) – Russian teenager Mirra Andreeva continues her run at the Internazionali d'Italia tennis tournament in Rome. The world number 7 qualified for the quarter-finals by beating Canada's Clara Tauson in three sets, 5-7, 6-3, 6-2. Andreeva will now face American Coco Gauff. Ukrainian veteran Elina Svitolina also advances, defeating American Danielle Collins 6-4, 6-2. China's Qinwen Zheng, ranked 8th in the world, also reaches the quarter-finals, defeating Canadian Bianca Andreescu 7-5, 6-1.
