Milan, 19 May (LaPresse) – According to reports, the Serie A Council is meeting this morning to decide the schedule for the 38th and final day of the top flight. In particular, it has already been decided that the matches between Napoli and Inter, the two teams still in contention for the Scudetto, will be brought forward to Friday 23 May. Antonio Conte's Azzurri, who are top of the table with a one-point lead, will face Cagliari, while Simone Inzaghi's Nerazzurri will be in action in Como. All that remains now is the official announcement from the League, which will also reveal the rest of the schedule for Saturday and Sunday. With the Napoli and Inter matches brought forward to Friday, there would then be time to play a possible Scudetto play-off on Monday, allowing the Nerazzurri sufficient rest ahead of the Champions League final on Saturday 31 May.
