Turin, 24 May (LaPresse) – Fabio Quartararo took pole position in the British Grand Prix in the MotoGP class. The Yamaha rider was the fastest on the track in Q2 with a time of 1'57‘233, three tenths ahead of Aleix Marquez's Ducati (+0’309) from the Gresini team. Third place went to Pecco Bagnaia's Ducati (+0.589), just ahead of his teammate Marc Marquez, who made a mistake in turn 9 on his last attempt and will start from fourth place. Also in the top ten were Fabio Di Giannanonio, seventh with the VR 46 Ducati, and Luca Marini, eighth with Honda. Franco Morbidelli finished tenth on the other VR 46 team bike.
