Milan, May 26 (LaPresse) – "We've had some fantastic years, and two Champions League finals are the result of our work – a reward for everyone's sacrifice. We share this achievement with the players, the entire club, and of course, our amazing fans."
These were the words of Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi in an interview with UEFA's official website, in the week leading up to the Champions League final against PSG.
Speaking about the French side, he added:
"They’re a very strong and complete team, with a great coach like Luis Enrique. Given their talent, we’ll need to play a perfect match and stay in the game from start to finish. We respect them a lot, but we’ll play the final in the best way possible – with respect, but without fear."
On what winning the trophy would mean for Inter:
"It would be the crowning achievement of a great journey that began four years ago. We know it’s an important final and we absolutely want to make our fans happy. We’ll give it our all," he concluded.
