Rome, 29 May (LaPresse) – The National Federal Court has sanctioned Brescia with an 8-point penalty, 4 to be served in the current season and another 4 in the first season starting from 2025/2026. Six months' suspension for club president Massimo Cellino and managing director Edoardo Cellino. With the four points deducted in the current season, pending a possible appeal, Brescia would be relegated to Serie B, while Sampdoria would go into the play-offs against Salernitana. The TFN also sanctioned Trapani with eight points to be deducted in the first season starting from 2025/2026. The two clubs, along with their legal representatives and executives, had been referred to the disciplinary committee following reports by Co.Vi.So.C. for a series of administrative violations.
