Turin, May 29. (LaPresse) – Isaac Del Toro retains the pink jersey at the end of the 18th stage of the Giro d'Italia, the 144 km stage from Morbegno to Cesano Maderno won by Nico Denz (Red Bull Bora hansgrohe), part of a large breakaway of almost 40 riders who were given plenty of space by the peloton from the early kilometers, finishing more than 10' behind the winner. There are no changes in the general classification: the Mexican rider from UAE Team Emirates maintains a 41-second lead over Richard Carapaz (EF Education-EasyPost) and 51 seconds over Simon Yates (Visma Lease a Bike). Tomorrow is the 19th stage of the Giro d'Italia, a 166 km high mountain stage from Biella to Champoluc.
