PSG showed more freshness, it seemed as if the Inter players had never played football before this match, and that's not normal for a team like Inter.’ These were the words of Gianfranco Matteoli, Inter's record-breaking playmaker, speaking on Radio Anch'io Sport on Rai Radio 1 about Inter's debacle in the Champions League final. Matteoli also shared a memory of president Ernesto Pellegrini: "We were all very close to the president.
