Milan, June 24 (LaPresse) – The journey of Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori at the 'Mallorca Championships' (ATP 250 – prize money €596,035), held on the grass courts of the Balearic island, ended quickly. The two Italians, top seeds and fresh from the Halle final, lost 6-7(5), 7-6(6), 11-9 after more than two hours of battle to the Argentine Guido Andreozzi and the Frenchman Theo Arribage. There are many regrets for the 39-year-old from Budrio and the 30-year-old from Turin, who failed to convert two match points: one at 6-5 in the second set tiebreak and another at 9-8 in the match tiebreak.
