Spielberg (Austria), June 28 (LaPresse) – Lando Norris secured pole position for the Austrian GP, the 11th round of the F1 World Championship.
With a time of 1:03.971, the McLaren driver edged out Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc by 521 thousandths of a second.
Oscar Piastri took third with the other McLaren, ahead of Ferrari’s Lewis Hamilton, who for the first time this season will start from the second row.
Fifth was George Russell, sixth Liam Lawson, seventh Max Verstappen, followed by Gabriel Bortoleto, Kimi Antonelli, and Pierre Gasly.
