Assen, June 28 (LaPresse) – Marc Marquez dominates once again and wins the Sprint Race at the Dutch GP, the tenth round of the MotoGP World Championship.
For the Spanish rider of the official Ducati team, it’s his ninth win of the season out of ten sprint races.
Starting from the second row, the Spaniard had an excellent start, allowing him to take the lead after just a few corners.
Marquez finished ahead of his brother Alex (Ducati Gresini), who attempted to overtake Marc halfway through the race.
Third place went to Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia), followed by Fabio Di Giannantonio (Ducati VR46) and Pecco Bagnaia, who had started second on the grid.
Maverick Vinales came in sixth.
Poleman Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha) crashed out with four laps to go while he was in fourth position.
