Rome, 29 June (LaPresse) – At the start of the Austrian Grand Prix, the eleventh round of the World Championship, there was contact after the first two corners between Kimi Antonelli's Mercedes and Max Verstappen's Red Bull, both of which were forced to retire. The Italian driver made a mistake when he locked up and ended up hitting the Dutchman. The race was stopped with the safety car. Oscar Piastri got off to an excellent start, overtaking Ferrari's Charles Leclerc and positioning himself behind Lando Norris, who was leading the race in his McLaren.
