Gymnastics: Sofia Raffaeli and coach Claudia Mancinelli part ways

Milan, 1 July (LaPresse) – Sofia Raffaeli and Claudia Mancinelli are embarking on two new professional paths. The news was announced by Federginnastica in a statement. The partnership between the Fiamme Oro gymnast and her coach began in the summer of 2023, already successful in their first outing at the World Championships in Valencia, which culminated in the winning of three silver medals. It was a relationship full of successes, sealed with the bronze medal at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris in the individual rhythmic gymnastics competition. This was a milestone never achieved before, and the Italian Gymnastics Federation will always be grateful to both of them. Precisely because of the recognised technical expertise of S.G. Fabriano, the Federation, in agreement with Claudia Mancinelli's club, has decided to appoint the coach as head of the Territorial Activity Centre (CAT) in Rome, where she will have the opportunity to work and develop promising young athletes, putting her experience and skills at their disposal.
